I grew up in Casablanca, Morocco, and currently work as a Senior Producer and Creative Content Manager in New York City. I can fluently speak and write in Moroccan Arabic, Classical Arabic, French and English.

The languages I speak constantly enable me to connect with people. Whether they are restaurants owners from the Middle East, musicians from West Africa or people who speak two or more languages, my multilingualism helps me to easily relate to them.

Growing up outside the United States, I am fully aware that the world is much more than the way it is being framed on American mainstream media. Beyond the overly stereotyped coverage, there are diverse cultures, communities and people that deserve to have their story told in the fairest ways possible.

While my multilingual abilities enable me to fairly and accurately cover stories, my multimedia skills allow me to expand the reach of the content I am producing.

I hold a bachelor degree in Communication with a concentration in media production and a minor in International Studies from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane.

I also hold a master’s degree in Magazine, Newspaper and Online journalism from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

Media production has always been my favorite. Whether it’s in Arabic, French, English, audio, still, text or video, my goal is to produce content in the most compelling and fascinating ways.
